Instagram is giving creators a clearer framework for creating video: start with a scroll-stopping hook, edit with the rhythm of the audio, use text and visuals to reinforce your message, then review your performance data and use what you learn in your next video.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Good short-form content starts before you hit record and continues after you post. For agents and advisors, this is a reminder to grab attention quickly, make your message easy to follow and use your results to improve the next piece of content.

YouTube is making its first major changes to Partner Program requirements since 2018. Beginning February 1, 2027, new creators will need 8,000 qualified watch hours in the previous 365 days or 20 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days to qualify for ad and Premium revenue sharing. Current YPP creators won’t be affected by the new entry requirements.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Building an audience that consistently watches and engages is becoming even more important. For brands and creators, this puts more emphasis on creating content people actually stick around for rather than chasing one-off views.

A new Sprout Social report found that 40% of consumers discover products through employee-generated content at least monthly, highlighting the role real people can play in building awareness for a brand.
What this means for you: Put more real people in your content. Introduce members of your team, record quick office videos, answer questions on camera or show what happens behind the scenes. You don’t need every post to look like a polished advertisement.

Buffer’s latest research found that Wednesday around 4 p.m. and Friday between 3–4 p.m. tend to be strong posting windows for LinkedIn. While every audience is different, these benchmarks provide a useful starting point when testing publishing schedules.
What this means for you: Use Wednesday around 4 p.m. and Friday around 3–4 p.m. as times worth testing, not rules you have to follow. Try them for a few weeks, compare your reach and engagement, and let your own analytics determine when you post.
